Jammu, Jan 28- To create awareness among the poor and rural women in the fields of
Health, education, avenue generation and about their legal rights, Public Welfare
Organization, (PWO) an NGO, organized an awareness generation program under the
aegis of State Social Welfare Board at village Gigain R S Pura. The camp, besides 25
women participants, was also attended by large number of prominent persons of the area.
Sonia Pandita, President of the organization, S. Harcharan Singh Lecturer, Trilochan
Singh local social worker, S.Amarjeet Singh advocate and Gurcharan Singh Principal
New Shakti Memorial School Choala while speaking on the occasion delivered lecturers
on general health awareness, education, avenues generation schemes for women, their
legal rights and impressed upon them to come forward and benefit themselves by such
schemes and also discharge their active role in nation building ventures.
