Bharat Sports Club Bani organizes short race for girls in commemoration of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav'

BANI, Aug 19: The Bharat Sports Club Bani orchestrated an inspiring event, the "Run for Nation," which featured a short race exclusively for girls. The event took place at HSS Bani, marking the occasion of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' (the 75th anniversary of India's independence), under the theme of 'Bharat Ki Ekta and Hum Fit to India Fit.' The program was graced by esteemed personalities, including Principal GDC Bani, Dr. Munisha Sarup Kohli; special guests, Tehsildar Bani, Sudesh Kumar Sharma; SHO Bani, Arjun Magotra; and Forest Range Officer Bani, Naresh Kumar Sharma.
A total of 55 girls hailing from GDC Bani, HSS Bani, and HS Chandal enthusiastically participated in the short race. Notable winners included Monika Devi, an 11th-grade student from HSS Bani; Shanaz Bano, also a student of the 11th grade at HSS Bani; Sanjana Devi, a 10th-grade student from HS Chandal; Reve Devi, an 11th-grade student from HSS Bani; and Shallu Devi, an 11th-grade student from Govt. HSS Bani, all securing the top positions in their respective groups.
Principal GDC Dr. Manisha Sarup Kohli, Tehsildar Bani Sudesh Kumar Sharma, and SHO Bani Arjun Magotra extended their heartfelt congratulations to these exceptional students. The program witnessed the distribution of prizes to the outstanding participants, while commendation prizes were bestowed upon all participants.
As the event concluded, Mohd Haffiz Qurashi, President of Bharat Sports Club Bani, expressed gratitude to the esteemed guests, the audience, and the participating students. Their active involvement and spirited participation were acknowledged as crucial to the success of the program. This event serves as a reminder of the importance of fostering unity and fitness in the nation, and it stands as a testament to the club's dedication to promoting sports and healthy activities among the youth.
