| Jan takes stock of developmental works in Poonch | | |

Poonch: Jan 28: The MLA, Aijaz Ahmad Jan who toured various areas of the district took stock of the developmental works going in the district. During the tour number of deputation met him, which apprised him about various problems with which they are confronted. MLA on spot asked the officers to take immediate measures to redress the genuine grievances.
Jan who also visited the District Hospital, Mandi and took stock of the medi-care facilities. He was informed about the shortage of doctors and other paramedical staff in the hospital. He assured that he will take up the matter with the concerned authorities and will ensure that this shortage is do away with on priority, so that people of the district get specialized health care services.
He also took stock of various PHE schemes and works being undertaken in the district and expressed satisfaction over the pace of work, beside held meetings with the BDO Poonch and BDO Mandi and asked them to complete different works identified at an earliest.
Ajiaz said state government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah is committed to work for the upliftment and development of the state.
