Free medical camp provides essential Healthcare services at Ramakrishna mission Medical centre

JAMMU, Aug 19: A free medical camp was organized at the Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre in Udheywala, Jammu on Saturday, August 19, 2023. The camp featured the expertise of renowned medical professionals including Nephrologist Dr. S. K. Bali, ENT specialist Dr. Ashok Sharma, Gynecologist Dr. Manjula Sharma, General Surgeon Dr. Kamal Gupta, General Physician Dr. B. D. Sharma & Dr. Rajinder Wazir, Ophthalmologist Dr. Reema Sadhu, Physiotherapist Meghna Sharma, and Dentist Dr. Umesh Padha, along with Orthopedic specialist Dr. Vijay Sabharwal.
During the camp, various medical examinations were conducted free of cost, including blood sugar tests, HbA1c tests, lung function tests for asthma, and blood pressure tests. A total of 250 patients were screened during the event.
Additionally, refreshments were provided to all the patients, and free medicines were distributed to those in need. The camp also administered over 80 sugar tests and 30 lung tests at no cost.
Swami Yajnadharananda Ji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, highlighted the mission’s commitment to serving society in the spirit of sacrifice and service.
He emphasized the importance of providing medical care to patients as an act of worship and expressed the organization’s intent to host such free camps on a monthly basis.
The next free medical camp is scheduled for September 3, 2023, with Orthopedic specialist Dr. Ajay Kumar Pandita offering his services. For further information, interested individuals can contact 9596984032.
