Creation of new Colleges to boost jobs: Sajjad

Banihal, Jan 28 creation of eleven New Degree Colleges and Eighteen Polytechnic
Colleges in uncovered districts of the state will help in creating of employment of the youth of the far flung and educationally backward areas of the state, said senior leader of National Conference leader Sajjad Shaheen Banihali here today. Welcoming the decision of the govt. and congratulated Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for getting sanction for establishment of new colleges and polytechnic in the state.
Shaheen said that education is the backbone for the development and progress of any nation or the society. He said that these steps will provide opportunities to the youths of remote areas to develop their skill. He appreciated Chief Minister for taking such revolutionary steps in the field of education that will lead towards making J&K a hundred percent literate state.
He has appealed to the Chief Minister to establish one polytechnic college in Tehsil Banihal and a Degree College at Ukerball Ramsoo as these remote areas are socially and educationally backward.
