Theft case solved, stolen Silver ornaments recovered by PP Talab Tillo

JAMMU, Aug 19: A swift and efficient investigation by the police led to the recovery of stolen silver ornaments weighing 485 grams in a theft case reported at PP Talab Tillo. The case had been lodged by Bharti, wife of Geeta Ram and a resident of Chattisgarh, at PP Talab Tillo regarding a theft that occurred in her house within the jurisdiction of PP Talab Tillo, Jammu.
In response to the complaint, FIR No. 138/2023 under sections 454/480 IPC was registered at PS Nowabad, and a thorough investigation was initiated.
Under the guidance of DySP Hqrs Dr. Sunniya Wani, a special police team from PP Talab Tillo, in collaboration with SHO PS Nowabad Inspector Surinder Raina and I/C PP Talab Tillo PSI Sonu Choudhary, conducted a diligent investigation.
By analyzing CCTV footage from the area, the team identified a suspect, later identified as Jatinder Kumar, son of the late Satpal and a resident of Puran Nagar Talab Tillo, Jammu.
Upon questioning, the accused confessed to his involvement in the theft case. As a result of his disclosure, stolen silver ornaments weighing 485 grams were recovered from his possession.
The police continue to carry out further investigation into the case to ensure that all aspects are thoroughly examined and justice is served. This successful resolution showcases the commitment of the police to swiftly address criminal cases and uphold the safety and security of the community.
