Jammu, Jan 28- Vigilance Organization today presented challan in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu against Dr. Abdul Hamid Mir, the then Medical Superintendent District Hospital Udhampur, who allegedly enhanced his service period after tempering his date birth as March 27, 1949 instead of his actual date of birth March 27, 1947. The act of omission of Commission on the part of said doctor prima-facie constitutes the offence u/s 5(2) J&K PC Act 2006 BK r/w section 420 RPC. After completion of the investigation Vigilance Organization today presented challan in which CPO Purshtom Sharma appeared and accused doctor was also produced in the Court.
Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu BL Bhat granted bail to accused doctor with the direction to furnish bail bond and personal bond to the tune of Rs 25000 each. The accused furnished the bail bond and personal bond as per the directions of the Court. JNF
