| 08 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police. | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 22: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Gharota, PP Pounichak and PP Pallanwala acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 08 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:
02 tractor trollies bearing Registration No . JK02B 1767 and Chasis No. MEA8BD83, by PS Gharota
04 vehicles i.e three tractor trollies bearing Chasis Nos. MBNGAALDBNRA03237, MBNGAALUPMRC04527, MBNAAL2BLJG00773 and one tractor trolley without Registration No by PP Pounichak
02 tractor trollies bearing Registration Nos . JK02CR9170 and JK02DD6521, by PP Pallanwala
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Gharota Inspr Joginder Singh Chib, I/C PP Pounichak PSI Nitish Khajuria and I/C PP Pallanwala ASI Raj Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
