| GHSS Kakora celebrates R-day | | | Early Times Reporter
RAJOURI, JAN 30: Reports are pouring in for celebrations of 60th Republic Day in different parts of Rajouri district. As a part of the celebrations, Government Higher Secondary School, Kakora in Manjakote block of Rajouri district celebrated 60th Republic Day with great fervour and enthusiasm.
Col. 38 RR, R. Banerjee who was the chief guest on the occasion unfurled the national flag and took salute at the march-past from the contingent of school children. Middle schools of nearby areas also participated in the function.
Students of the institution presented colourful cultural programme including skits and folk dances based on national integration and communal harmony.
The chief guest lauded the presentations displayed by the school children and distributed prizes among all the participants.
