UDHAMPUR, JAN 30: Election Commission of India has revised the schedule for special summary revision of electoral rolls.
According to District Election Officer, Udhampur, the revised schedule for draft publication of electoral rolls has been fixed on January 31,2009 while as eligible voters can file their claims and objections with effect from January 31,2009 to February 10,2009.
Similarly, special campaigning dates with booth level agents of political parties for receiving claims and objections has been fixed on February 7 and 8, 2009. Disposal of claims and objections would be held on February 16,2009 and date of final publication of revised electoral rolls has been fixed as February 24,2009.
