Early Times Reporter Jammu, Jan 30- The National Council of the National Panthers Party met in New Delhi today on the 61st Martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi who was assassinated on this day in 1948 while he was coming out of his evening prayer at Birla House in New Delhi. His assassination by a fanatic rocked the entire peace-loving civilization of India. Prof. Bhim Singh who chaired this special Emergency National Council Meeting of the Panthers Party said that this day should be declared as anti-violence day in whole world so that the new generation shall understand the damage caused by violence and bullets to the emerging civilization of the world. The Panthers Supremo regretted that India has not been able to demonstrate the voice against violence this day. Prof. Singh said that assassination of the greatest Indian leaders including Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and others should wake up the nation against the violence.
