| Commerce College debates recession | | | Early Times Report

The internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) of govt Commerce College organized workshop on economic recession in the global market. Causes and effects on the developing world and Prof. Depankar Sen Gupta from the department of Economics, University of Jammu was the Resource person on the occasion who spoke at length about the economic recession taking place in US and has also effected global Market. The workshop was held in coordination with the centre for adult and continuing education and extension, University of Jammu while the workshop was inaugurated by the college principal, Dr. Sham Lal Gupta, who emphasized the relevance of the topic in the contemporary times. The programme was followed by a question-answer session where the students clarified their doubts and gave their inputs. Dr. Twinkle Suri, compered the proceedings of the workshop and presented the vote of thanks.
