MV International school organizes Tiranga rally at DC Office Samba

Samba, Aug 29: In a striking demonstration of patriotism and environmental responsibility, MV International School orchestrated a ‘Tiranga Rally’ to pay tribute to the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh Campaign’. The rally was inaugurated by Chief Guest Sh. Abhishek Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Samba, along with Special Guest Sh. Benam Tosh, SSP Samba. . Sukhleen Kour, Chief Planning Officer Samba, and Sh. Kewal Krishan, Chief Education Officer Samba, graced the event with their esteemed presence. Banners waved high, accompanied by enthusiastic slogans about the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh Campaign’, which has gained national attention. The event saw the spirited participation of 100 students and staff members of MV International School, showcasing the school’s commitment to national causes.
The rally concluded at the Samba District administration complex, where students from the cultural department presented a Nukkad Natak (street play), encapsulating the nation’s journey from the struggles for independence to its current global prominence.
The play highlighted India’s emergence as a future superpower due to strong policies and selfless contributions from its citizens. The performance was witnessed by officials from the District Samba administration. Chief Guest Sh. Abhishek Sharma, IAS-DC Samba, praised the school for its significant campaign, commending its artistic expression and social messages. He also appreciated the school’s tree plantation drive under the ‘One Child, One Plant Campaign’, aiming to plant 2000 trees by August 31, 2023.
During the culmination, students from classes 7th and 8th distributed informative pamphlets and potted plants, shedding light on the campaign’s objectives and the importance of tree plantation.
MV International School’s Director, Gourav Abrol, and Principal Kundan Lal Dogra, expressed their admiration and appreciation for the exceptional efforts of the students and staff that made the event a success.
They also thanked officials from the District Administration Complex Samba for their time and support.
The ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign by MV International School deepens the connection to the nation’s heritage while promoting an environmentally conscious future. With this initiative, the school continues to inspire others.
