SSP Benam Tosh announces new postings for SHOs, key police roles in Samba

SAMBA, Sept 2: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, Benam Tosh, has issued orders for the postings of several Inspectors to crucial roles within the district. These assignments include Station House Officers (SHOs) and leaders for key departments within the police force. As per the District Police Headquarters (DPO) Samba Order No. 546 of 2023, dated September 2, 2023, the following appointments have been made:
Inspector Sumit Sharma has been designated as the new SHO of Police Station Bari Brahmana.
Inspector Amit Kumar Sangra has taken up the position of SHO at Police Station Ramgarh.
Inspector Sandeep Charak assumes the role of SHO at Police Station Vijaypur.
Inspector Daljeet Singh has been appointed as SHO of Police Station Samba.
Additionally, Inspector Rajeshwar Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the Police Control Room (PCR) in Samba. Inspector Surinder Kumar is now in charge of the District Special Branch (DSB), while Inspector Sudesh Kumar has been designated as the leader of the District Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) Team.
These appointments have been made in the best interests of the administration and are a result of transfers, adjustments, and reassignments of Inspectors as directed by the Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) Jammu and Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Jammu.
The new role assignments aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the police force in Samba, ensuring that key positions are filled by capable and experienced officers.
