Monthly traffic review meeting held in Jammu

JAMMU, Sept 2: Faisal Qureshi JKPS, SSP Traffic City Jammu, conducted a monthly review meeting at the conference hall of District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu, with all the officers of Traffic Police Jammu to assess the detailed functioning of traffic police in the city.
The meeting was attended by several officers, including Raj Paul Singh Manhas Addl SP Traffic City Jammu, Farah Nishat Dy. SP (T) City North, Bikram Kumar Dy. SP (T) City South, Satish Kumar Dy. SP Traffic Rural Jammu, Charanjeet Singh Dy. SP Traffic City Jammu, All DTI's/SO's, SI Santosh Kumar PA, ASI Sarswati Raina OASI of TPO, HC Ravi Kumar & Sadhu Ram of Statistical Section of Traffic Police Office Jammu.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion took place on various aspects of traffic functioning, including backlog verifications and their disposal, day-to-day challans work, and regulation duties. SSP Traffic issued directives to prioritize issues such as Triple Riding, Stunt Driving, and wrong lane driving, along with other visible traffic violations. He emphasized the importance of giving top priority to medical emergencies and emergency vehicles.
SSP Traffic also instructed the officers to conduct regular Road Safety Awareness Programs, focus on strict regulation and enforcement duties, pay special attention during peak hours, refrain from using mobile phones during duty hours, maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with the general public, and ensure proper turnout in their uniforms.
