3-day digi week mela ends at Udhampur: Govt Deptts showcase digital services to enthusiastic public

UDHAMPUR, Sept 2: The captivating three-day Digi Week Mela, which commenced on August 31st at the exquisite Riwayat Banquet Hall, came to a vibrant conclusion today, drawing an enthusiastic crowd from all walks of life.
On the final day of the Digi Week Mela, students hailing from different colleges and schools flocked to the event, eager to immerse themselves in firsthand experiences with the diverse digital services offered by various government departments.
Numerous government departments, including Agriculture, Health, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Education, Social Welfare, Motor Vehicle Department, Labour, and more, ingeniously set up vibrant stalls to disseminate awareness about the plethora of online services launched by the Jammu and Kashmir government.
Adding to the excitement, the Additional District Development Commissioner of Udhampur, Ghan Shyam Singh, graced the mela with his presence on the closing day. He meticulously inspected the meticulously arranged stalls, each representing a different facet of government services.
Under the vigilant eye of the Udhampur District Administration, the mela was conducted with exemplary precision and care.
Elaborate arrangements were made to ensure the success of this three-day extravaganza, encompassing crucial aspects like security, potable water supply, uninterrupted power supply, medical services, traffic management, and impeccable sanitation.
The Digi Week Mela truly illuminated the digital landscape of Udhampur, bringing government services closer to the people and fostering a spirit of technological advancement.
