| Jalmeria questions Sonia’s propriety to inaugurate Srinagar Airport | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31- Hari Chand Jalmeria Advocate and State president Kisan Sabha has questioned the propriety and authority of Sonia Gandhi to inaugurate Srinagar International Airport and Railway Section from Rajvansher to Baramulla in Kashmir valley slated for February 14. Both these projects are of Union Government and either the concerned Ministers or the Prime Minister should inaugurate, Jalmeria said in a handout here today.
He said Sonia Gandhi who is neither Prime Minister nor Minister has no constitutional authority or propriety to inaugurate these projects. ‘This is naked show of misuse of Government machinery by Congress President on the eve of general elections of Lok Sabha’, Jalmeria remarked.
Jalmeria has urged upon the President of India to prevent Sonia Gandhi from performing this unconstitutional task and sent other appropriate authorities for the purpose.
