| PNB celebrates security awareness week | | | Early Times Report

To create security awareness amongst the staff during any eventuality, Punjab National Bank (PNB) organized security awareness week for its staff members from January 19 to 26.
DGM of Bank R.C. Koul on the occasion said, the purpose of celebrating the week was to create awareness amongst the staff and preparing them for meeting any contingency arise due to dacoity, burglary, fire etc. Manager security, Lt. Neeraj Anand said, awareness acquires more importance in present days when militancy is a great threat.
Jain emphasized the need for awareness regarding security guidelines amongst the staff of the bank and especially in the wake of militancy the significance of awareness regarding security acquires more importance. He said that the guards deployed in the branches of the bank have a very vital role to play in ensuring the security of the branch and need to be well trained about the security guidelines.
