RAMGARH, Sept 5: GDC Ramgarh took a significant step towards fostering digital literacy among its students by organizing a Digital Logo-Making Session as part of the Jammu & Kashmir Digital Week 2023 activities. This event, hosted on September 5, 2023, was a collaborative effort led by the NSS unit 'Prabha' and the Department of Computer Application, guided by the esteemed leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, the Principal of GDC Ramgarh.
The organizing committee responsible for orchestrating the J&K Digital Week-2023 activities included Dr. Shamsher Lal, Dr. Rahul Kundal, and Mr. Sunil Kumar, who played pivotal roles in making this initiative a resounding success.
Dr. Shamsher Lal, NSS Program Officer and Coordinator, emphasized the paramount importance of acquiring digital skills in the 21st century. He underlined that digital literacy is now a fundamental requirement in modern education systems. This vital life skill not only prepares students for their careers but also enhances their educational experience and social interaction. Kumar emphasized that the increasing integration of technology into daily life underscores the urgency of digital literacy for students, as technology permeates various aspects of life, from social interactions to entertainment, education to professional endeavors.

These included Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Seema Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Shamsher Lal, Prof. Risha Kumari, Dr. Ekta Rani, Dr. Rahul Kundal, Sunil Kumar, Dr. Shivali Choudhary, Priya Sharma, and Dr. Paramjeet Kour.
