JAMMU, Sept 5: The Stephens Group of Institutions transformed into a hub of exuberance and enthusiasm as they celebrated Teacher's Day with an unforgettable cultural extravaganza. The event was orchestrated by the students of M.Sc. 2nd year and B.Sc. 4th year, who left no stone unturned in creating a captivating and mesmerizing experience.
The cultural bonanza unfolded with a kaleidoscope of talent, featuring songs, fun games, musical games, dance performances, and poetry recitals. The students poured their hearts into delivering a heartwarming tribute to their dedicated mentors and educators, recognizing the pivotal role they play in shaping the future.
The grand event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a symbol of enlightenment and knowledge. This was followed by a floral tribute to the great educationist, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, by the esteemed Administrator, Manoj Kotru, and the Faculty members. Rasmeet Kour and Khusbhoo Rani of M.Sc. 2nd year extended a warm welcome to everyone on this auspicious occasion.
The students took center stage, presenting enthralling musical and dance performances. Unjum delivered a heart-touching solo dance performance, captivating the audience with her grace and artistry. The students of B.Sc. (Nursing) 1st year presented an exhilarating Kashmiri dance, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region. Khusbhoo and Shameem's melodious and heart-touching song struck a chord with everyone in attendance.
The program was skillfully anchored by Rahila Nazir, Ikhlaq, Rasmeet Kour, Priya, and Khusbhoo Rani, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for the audience.
In a touching gesture, the students presented gifts and organized a sumptuous lunch for all the teachers as a token of their appreciation. The students had worked diligently to make this event a resounding success.
Rahila Zahoor and Saniya Sharma recited inspirational and motivational poems, inspiring everyone with their words of wisdom. Manoj Kotru, in his address, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the students' exceptional program and extended warm wishes to all on this joyous occasion of Teacher's Day.
The celebration took an interactive turn as students invited teachers to participate in fun activities, fostering a close bond between educators and learners. It was a day filled with deep appreciation, respect, and love for the teachers, reaffirming their indispensable role in shaping the future.
The management of Stephens Group of Institutions also organized a special get-together for the staff members, featuring a variety of activities and fun games.
