Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Sept 5: In a highly successful and coordinated operation, the Kishtwar Police, working in conjunction with the Indian Army and CRPF 52 Bn, has successfully dismantled a hideout associated with Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist Jhangir Saroori.
The operation, which took place in the Paribag area of Bhadat Saroor, marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in the region. Acting on credible intelligence, the joint forces meticulously planned and executed this operation with the goal of neutralizing the hideout and disrupting the activities of the suspected terrorist Jhangir Saroori.
During the search operation, the police discovered several items within the hideout, including two blankets, various edible items, and personal use articles. These findings strongly suggest the presence of the terrorist in the hideout and underscore the importance of this operation in curtailing unlawful activities in the region.
The entire area has been cordoned off, and thorough searches are being conducted to ensure the safety and security of the residents. Sh. Khalil Poswal, SSP Kishtwar~JKPS, emphasized, "Our mission is to guarantee the safety and security of our citizens, and today's operation represents a significant achievement in our continuous efforts to eliminate terrorism from the region."
Kishtwar Police encourages all citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities or information that could aid in maintaining peace and thwarting the nefarious intentions of anti-social elements. The police department remains steadfast in its commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
