9/5/2023 9:59:52 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 5: The Congress party will commemorate the first anniversary of the "Bharat Jodo Yatra" on September 7th, 2023. This celebration will take place at the state's capital headquarters in Srinagar and Jammu, as well as at all district levels. The event aims to revive and reiterate the message of the Yatra, which covered the journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir last year.
The PCC Chief, Shri Vikar Rasool Wani, chaired a preparatory meeting attended by senior PCC leaders, district presidents, and prominent leaders in both Jammu and Srinagar.
AICC I/C J & K party affairs, Smt. Rajni Patil MP, will lead the Yatra in Jammu, accompanied by PCC President Shri Vikar Rasool Wani, Working President Raman Bhalla, and other senior leaders. Similar events will take place in different districts across the region, with various leaders leading the Yatras.
The nationwide celebrations of the first anniversary will follow the pattern of last year's Bharat Jodo Yatra, emphasizing unity in diversity, promoting love, affection, and harmony, and rejecting hate.
The meeting reviewed the preparations for the event in Jammu and other districts, urging all party leaders and cadres to participate in their respective districts or assigned locations.
The main event of the Yatra in Jammu is proposed to be held on the Miransahib Jammu route. Prominent leaders from the region attended the meeting, and similar meetings were held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.
