Activities under ‘Ayushman Bhava’ gains momentum in Doda

DODA, Sept 5: Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti, today convened a meeting of the stakeholders to review the activities under the ongoing ‘Ayushman Bhava programme in the district.
The Campaign started on the 1st of September and shall continue till 31st of December and aims to provide quality healthcare facilities to the patients in all Government hospitals across the district.
The programme is aimed to achieve 100 percent targets in coverage of all health schemes in a mission mode and ensure optimum delivery of all healthcare schemes to every intended beneficiary in the district.
During the meeting, the ADC took first hand appraisal from all the line departments about the implementation of Ayushman Bhava.
A detailed discussion was held on formulation of action plan, strategies and planning to achieve the set targets.
Principal GMC Doda and CMO Doda were asked to direct their doctors and field staff to motivate the patients and general public to register for PM-JAY SEHAT scheme and avail free health care facilities upto Rs 5 lakh.
Similarly ACD, CPO, DSWO, Tribal Department, Education Department and Zila Sainik Welfare Board Doda were asked to coordinate with the concerned health and CSC officials and ensure 100% saturation of the beneficiaries under PMJAY SEHAT and other health care schemes.
The meeting also held a threadbare discussion about the identification of catchment areas and formulation of schedule for conducting the awareness campaign in schools, colleges, health centers, and anganwadi centers across the district.
The ADC stressed the line departments to provide all requisite support for successful implementation of the scheme in the district. He asked the officers of concerned departments to share schedules of events with all the stakeholders, to be conducted for the implementation of the ‘Ayushman Bhava’ programme in the district for better synchronisation and desired results.
