Congress organizes meeting in Jammu East

JAMMU, Sept 6: A meeting of Indian National Congress organized by Block President Nageshwar Narayan and Sikander Khan, Ward President Ward No.9 Ustad Mohalla. Hundreds of congress workers and others attended the meeting.
Members of the Observing Committee Jammu Urban Shri Kapil Singh - Spokesperson JKPCC, S. Harvinder Singh Mehtaand Thomas Khokhar listened the grievances of the Congress workers.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Kapil Singh said that BJP is undemocratically ruling on the country by misusing of agencies on the opposition and common masses. He also lashed the BJP Govt. on the inflation and unprecedently price rise of essential commodities in the country. The installation of smart electrical meters and property tax and various types of other taxes has added more to the miseries of common masses.
S. Harvinder Singh Mehta said that the people of Jammu should ask the local leaders of BJP, what they have done for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Why they hesitate to raise the genuine problems of Jammu people to the Central High Command of BJP. On the occasion Thomas Khokhar highlighted the policies and programmes of the party. He stressed the need of further strengthening the party at the grass root level.
A veteran 92 years old Congress worker Abdul Hamid also attended the meeting and suggested his view points in strengthening the party.
The meeting was also attended by Mohd Farooq, Janmeet Singh Raju, Poonam, Salim Bibi, Garo Devi, Sunita, Sahshi, Veena, Bimla Devi.
On the occasion Shri Neelam Khan, Shahid Dar, Muzammil, Mohd, Bahid, Ravi Kundal and Mushtaq joined the congress party.
