Mentally ill destitute boy reunites with family

NAGROTA, Sept 6: A heartwarming reunion took place as a mentally ill destitute boy, who was found wandering in the Nagrota area a few days ago, has been successfully reunited with his family. This remarkable effort was carried out by the Nagrota Police Station, displaying compassion and determination to bring the boy back to his loved ones.
The mentally ill boy was discovered in the Nagrota area, but he was unable to provide any information about his whereabouts. His disoriented state and inability to recall his address indicated that he was in need of immediate assistance.
The Nagrota Police Station took on the responsibility of locating the boy's family. Through persistent efforts, they managed to obtain the name and address of the boy. His identity was revealed as Abhinandan Jain, the son of Late Madan Lal, a resident of Mansa tehsil and district in Punjab.
With the obtained information, the police established telephonic contact with the boy's family members. This crucial step marked the beginning of the process of reuniting the boy with his loved ones.
After completing all the necessary legal formalities, today, the mentally ill boy was joyfully reunited with his family. He was handed over to his mother, ensuring his safety and well-being.
This heartening reunion exemplifies the dedication and commitment of the Nagrota Police Station to the welfare of the community. Their diligent efforts not only ensured the boy's return to his family but also demonstrated the compassion and care that law enforcement can provide in times of need.
