DC presides over valedictory function of Digital J&K Week at Ramban

RAMBAN, Sept 6: District Administration Ramban conducted array of events on last day of the Digital J&K Week and under the ongoing Bhrashtachar Mukt Jammu and Kashmir campaign to sensitize the people about more than 600 online schemes introduced to create a transparent system and establish a corruption free society.
Presiding a camp at conference hall organized by the Jal Shakti Department to observe Digital J&K Week and Bhrashtachar Mukt Jammu and Kashmir campaign under the aegis of Jal Jeeven Mission Fortnight, Deputy Commissioner Masarat Islam asked the participants, especially PRIs to aware the people including children and elders about advantages of online services.
DDC Councillor, Renuka Katoch; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Sharma; Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Rajeev Gai and other officers, PRIs and other stakeholders were present on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner also advised them to avail the facilities of Common Service Centres to take benefits of the online services. He said that the government has devised many mechanisms to register any corruption related complaints at different levels of administration.
Later, the DC addressed a Convention of Pani Samtis attended by the members officers and officials of the Jal Shakti Department Hydraulic Division Ramban. The Deputy Commissioner said the department is vigorously working towards achieving the target for providing Functional Tap Connections to every Household by completing all water supply schemes taken up across the district under Jal Jeeven Mission.
