"Teachers' wisdom shapes students' future" - SD Tara Puri Public High School celebrates Teachers' Day

JAMMU, Sept 6: In a grand celebration filled with pomp and grandeur, Teachers' Day was observed on September 5th at S.D Tara Puri Public High School, Gandhi Nagar. The school premises were transformed into a vibrant and festive atmosphere, adorned with flowers and festoons, to honor the hard work and dedication of the teaching staff.
The event was a heartfelt tribute to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping the future of students. Teachers were warmly welcomed with flowers and gifts, a token of appreciation for their relentless efforts in educating and nurturing the students.
The highlight of the day was an inspirational speech delivered by Principal Ms. Neeru Puri. She shared insights about the life and contributions of Dr. Radha Krishnan, emphasizing the pivotal role of teachers in shaping society and molding the future of the nation. Her words resonated deeply with the teaching fraternity present.
In a unique twist, students from class 10th assumed the roles of teachers for the day, demonstrating control and responsibility while managing their peers. This hands-on experience gave students a deeper appreciation for the challenges and responsibilities faced by their teachers.
Principal Neeru Puri commended the students for their outstanding performances in taking on the role of teachers for the day. Their dedication and maturity in managing the classroom were acknowledged and celebrated.
