DPS student Mahika, wins Gold in Weightlifting Women League

Jammu, Sept 6: Mahika Sharma, a student from Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu, has secured the gold medal in the Khelo India Weightlifting Women League 2023-24. The event, organized by the J&K Sports Council, took place at the Sports Complex in Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, on September 2, 2023.
Competing in the 49 kg weight category, Mahika’s outstanding performance earned her the top spot and a gold medal. In recognition of her achievement, she also received a certificate of merit.
The management of DPS Jammu, including President Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, PVC Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji, Director Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji, and Principal Ms. Ruchi Chabra, extended their warm congratulations to Mahika and her parents.
They applauded her remarkable accomplishment and wished her continued success in all her future endeavors.
Mahika Sharma’s achievement reflects her dedication and commitment to excellence in the field of weightlifting, bringing honor not only to herself but also to her school and family.
