JAMMU, Sept 8: The Joyous College of Physiotherapy (JCP) celebrated World Physiotherapy Day with immense enthusiasm. A series of events were organized to mark this special day, bringing together students and faculty members to raise awareness and celebrate the field of physiotherapy. The day commenced with a physiotherapy awareness rally, where participants demonstrated their commitment to promoting the importance of physiotherapy in maintaining and enhancing physical well-being. The rally served as a visual representation of the dedication of the JCP community to their profession. Later in the day, a singing competition was organized among students from various academic programs. This creative endeavor provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and enjoy some friendly competition while celebrating World Physiotherapy Day. The highlight of the day was a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on the theme "Combating Arthritis - A Physiotherapy Perspective." This session aimed to provide valuable insights and knowledge on how physiotherapy can play a crucial role in managing arthritis and improving the quality of life for affected individuals. The day concluded with the distribution of certificates among the winners of various competitions, recognizing their achievements and contributions to the World Physiotherapy Day celebrations. In his address, the Principal of JCP extended his congratulations to the faculty and students for the successful culmination of World Physiotherapy week celebrations. He also expressed his gratitude to Chairperson Suman Sharma and the college management for their unwavering support in making the event a success. The celebration of World Physiotherapy Day at JCP not only acknowledges the vital role of physiotherapy in healthcare but also fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie among students and faculty members, reinforcing their commitment to this noble profession.
