| GDC Ramnagar organizes quiz competition on election process | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 8: SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) Cell of Govt. Degree College Ramnagar organized a quiz competition on Election Process on 8th of September, 2023. The entire session was organized under the able patron ship of Dr. Bhavnaish Chand, Principal GDC Ramnagar. The program was commenced with welcome address by Dr. Om Prakash (Convenor, SVEEP Cell). He gave a brief overview of the Electron process and advised the students to participate in the forthcoming Municipal elections by casting their votes.
Four teams comprising of Sem III and V participated in the quiz competition with great enthusiasm and their response was overwhelming. The questions for the quiz were prepared by Dr. Divya Puri, HOD Psychology. The students not only gained knowledge but also enjoyed answering the varied questions that were compiled for them. The competition was held in different phases. Rapid fire round lifted the interest of not only participants but audience also. Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Physical Director, Prof. Shobha Rani, HOD Dogri and Nitish Sharma faculty Mathematics were the judges of the event.
It was indeed an enriching experience for the audience thereby providing ample scope of learning and exploration of facts and knowledge for the students. Principal of the College announced the results and congratulated the winners. The session was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Rashmi Gupta, Faculty Physics.
