9/8/2023 10:27:12 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 8: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially opened the online submission link for examination forms for the December 2023 Term-End Examinations. This announcement provides students with the opportunity to register for the upcoming examinations in various academic programs offered by the University.
The December 2023 Term-End Examinations at IGNOU are scheduled to commence from the 1st of December 2023 and are expected to conclude on the 6th of January 2023. The detailed date sheet can be accessed on the IGNOU website, www.ignou.ac.in. To submit examination forms online, students can directly visit the link https://exam.ignou.ac.in/ on the IGNOU website homepage.
Eligible students can complete their examination fee submissions for all eligible courses and backlog courses. It's important to note that this is applicable as long as the program's validity has not expired or the minimum duration requirements have been met. The examination fee for each course is Rs. 200, and payments can be made using Debit/Credit Cards or Internet Banking.
The last date for the submission of online examination forms without incurring a Late Fee is September 30, 2023, until 6 PM. The examination form submission portal will reopen from October 1, 2023, and accept examination forms with a Late Fee of Rs. 500, closing on October 20, 2023, at 6 PM. Additionally, the portal will reopen from October 21, 2023, and accept examination forms with a Late Fee of Rs. 1100, closing on October 31, 2023, at 6 PM.
While IGNOU aims to accommodate students in their preferred examination centers, if a particular center reaches its capacity, students will have the option to choose the nearest or an alternate examination center within the jurisdiction of the same Regional Centre. However, IGNOU retains the right to shift students from one exam center to another if necessary.
It's essential to note that IGNOU reserves the right to reschedule or cancel examinations or papers at any time, either across all Examination Centers nationwide or in a specific Examination Center or State, due to unforeseen circumstances or other reasons.
Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director In charge of IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu, urged all eligible students to submit their examination forms well in advance of the deadline. He emphasized the importance of not waiting until the last date, as server congestion can occur due to high internet traffic as the deadline approaches.
