Inaugural E-Governance magazine of Ladakh UT launched alongside tapOnn event

Leh, Sept 8: In a significant development, a Meeting was chaired by Dr Pawan Kotwal, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh for the launch of the first-ever e-Governance Magazine, facilitated by the IT Secretary Amit Sharma, through the National Informatics Centre (NIC) was launched which carried informative IT related articles for widespread circulation amongst IT buffs of the Union Territory.
The launch of this inauguration edition of Ladakh UT e-Governance Magazine has been widely appreciated and it was also disclosed by IT Secretary Amit Sharma that it’s subsequent additions shall be issued on a quarterly basis for benefitting the public of the UT and also keep them abreast with latest developments in IT sector.
This event brought together Secretaries, relevant officers, and officials, underscoring the significance of this launch of 1st e-Governance related publication of Ladakh UT.
In another important lead taken by Information Technology Department of the UT of Ladakh led by IT Secretary Amit Sharma, a start-up led by its Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Shubham Karnwal delivered an informative presentation on the revolutionary networking platform, "TAP ONN," during another simultaneous event held in Civil Secretariat, Leh under the chairpersonship of Dr Pawan Kotwal, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Ladakh and presence of all Administrative Secretaries.
The presentation highlighted the innovative features and advantages of TapOnn, which promises to streamline networking, provide instant and efficient connections, and offer comprehensive data management capabilities.
He introduced TapOnn as an eco-friendly, NFC-powered smart product and application designed to enhance networking experiences. He also emphasized its key attributes, including a centralized admin dashboard for managing connections and networks, robust data security backed by blockchain technology, and a solution to the shortcomings of traditional networking methods.
One of the core messages conveyed during the presentation was the potential for exponential team growth through the establishment of meaningful relationships using TapOnn. The platform's custom dashboard was touted as a valuable tool for end-to-end management of networking activities.
TapOnn's networking ecosystem, represented by its smart card, was showcased as a versatile three-in-one solution. It not only promotes eco-friendliness but also simplifies networking processes, making connections seamless and efficient.
Advisor Dr. Pawan Kotwal proposed the introduction of TapOnn cards and passes at a nominal charge, highlighting their responsibility and alignment with national e-governance standards.
The proposal encompassed metal and PVC cards with two hierarchies, in line with India's Paperless Norm and Government Financial Rules (GFR).
