| MVD Doda organizes Road Safety awareness programme for students | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Sept 8: Motor Vehicle Department Doda today organized a road safety awareness programme for the students here in the Green Model Higher Secondary School.
The aim of the programme was to educate students about the importance of road safety and to create awareness among them regarding the various road safety rules and regulations.
On the occasion, ARTO Rajesh Gupta emphasized the students to act as ambassadors for promoting the road safety rules and the "Bharashtachar Mukht campaign.
The ARTO also gave a detailed presentation on the traffic signals, signs and acquainted the students about the online services of MVD for applying for driving licence, RC and other documents.
A debate competition was also organized in which students of the school participated with great enthusiasm and expressed valuable ideas for minimizing the road accidents.
The students were awarded with prizes and encouraged to actively participate in spreading awareness about road safety among their peers and family members. |
