YRS organizes community meet for upcoming Maharaja Hari Singh birth anniversary holiday

JAMMU, Sept 10: In anticipation of the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, the last Dogra ruler, which falls in September, the Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) organized a community gathering in Jammu. The holiday was declared in honor of Maharaja Hari Singh’s birth anniversary last year, and according to YRS, this tribute to Maharaja Sahab is a source of pride for the Dogra Community.
In recognition of this significant occasion, YRS holds meetings in the month of September and encourages people from different localities to come together and celebrate this grand event as a symbol of Dogra pride.
On Sunday, a meeting was organized by the residents of Sunisar, Mansar, Battal, and Billawar, drawing hundreds of attendees. In Mansar, local residents discussed the problems facing their area and welcomed the YRS team under the leadership of Vikram Singh. Due to other commitments, Surinder Singh Gilli, the former President, led these meetings. Gilli emphasized that YRS always stands for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir, and the YRS team is committed to serving the nation.
In Billawar, the program took place in the presence of hundreds of local youth leaders, sarpanches, and social workers at Adarsh Palace Billawar. The youth of Billawar organized a rally to welcome the YRS team. Vice President of YRS, Vikramjeet, raised the issue of preserving the heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
During a media address, YRS Spokesperson Vishal Singh appealed to the people of Jammu to unite and support Team YRS in their upcoming efforts to demand rights and improve the Dogra Community’s well-being.
YRS members, including Komal Singh, Prem Singh, Ajay Singh, Udayveer Singh, Nitin Singh, Avtar Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Aryaveer Singh, and many others, extended invitations to everyone to join the massive YRS rally on September 23 and to celebrate the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji in their respective localities, paying tribute to the greatest last Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir.
