Government Polytechnic Jammu hosts CIIIT certificate distribution ceremony

JAMMU, Sept 11: Government Polytechnic Jammu recently organized a significant event at its "Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training Jammu (CIIIT Jammu)," where certificates were distributed to students who successfully completed their 03 Months CIIIT courses. Under the esteemed guidance and supervision of Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of Government Polytechnic Jammu, the program aimed to recognize and celebrate the achievements of these budding engineers.
The certificate distribution and felicitation program saw a total of 115 students being awarded CIIIT Certificates for their dedication and hard work in various courses, including Mechatronics and IoT, Finite Element Analysis, CAD Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, Industrial Robotics, and Machine Tool/CNC Operator. These courses equip students with essential skills in modern engineering tools, product design, development, and manufacturing.
Key figures present at the event included Er. Inderjeet Singh, Workshop Superintendent, Er. Sukhdeep Singh, Head of Civil Engineering, Er. Rani Devi, Head of Computer Engineering, Er. Manjeet Singh, Head of Electrical Engineering, Er. Raj Kumar, Head of Mechanical Engineering, and Sh. Sandeep Nimbalkar, Incharge of CIIIT Jammu. Representatives from TATA Technologies, including subject matter experts, also graced the occasion.
Er. Arun Bangotra, the Principal, commended the students on their successful completion of CIIIT Courses. He highlighted the collaborative efforts between the J&K Government and TATA Technologies Ltd., resulting in the establishment of the state-of-the-art Technology Center, "Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training [CIIIT] Jammu," at Government Polytechnic College Jammu. This center plays a crucial role in providing training to students from engineering colleges, polytechnics, and ITIs, as well as engineering graduates, industry professionals, and faculty members from technical institutes in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The primary objective of CIIIT Jammu is to equip individuals with modern engineering tools and expose them to the latest technologies, making them industry-ready professionals. The center provides valuable insights into Industry 4.0 and other disruptive technologies, fostering entrepreneurship and contributing to the overall development of the region's technical landscape.
This initiative represents a significant step forward in enhancing the technical education and skill development opportunities available to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, aligning with the broader vision of empowering the region's workforce and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
