DPS Jammu student, Divyesh Sharma, clinches gold medal in UT level Yogasana Championship

JAMMU, Sept 11: Divyesh Sharma, a student of Delhi Public School Jammu (DPS Jammu), has brought honor to the school and his parents by securing a gold medal in the 4th Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (U.T.) Yogasana Sports Championship. The event, organized by the Yoga Association of Jammu and Kashmir, took place at the Om Shanti Meditation Centre in Jammu on September 10, 2023.
Divyesh Sharma participated in the 8-10 years (Boys) category, showcasing exceptional skill and dedication to claim the gold medal. In the same competition, Bhavya Sharma, a student from the 8-10 years (Girls) category, secured a silver medal. Both winners also received merit certificates for their outstanding performances.
The achievements of Divyesh and Bhavya were made possible through the guidance and training provided by Ms. Veena Chib, the School Yoga Faculty at DPS Jammu. Her dedication and coaching expertise were acknowledged with an appreciation award.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, including the President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Director S.S Sodhi and Principal Ruchi Chabra, expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the winners and their parents. They extended their best wishes to the young talents for all their future endeavors.
Headmistress, Meenu Gupta, also applauded the achievements of Divyesh Sharma and Bhavya Sharma, recognizing their hard work and dedication in the field of Yogasana.
