Centre focused on J&K's development: Kavinder Gupta

JAMMU, Sept 11: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, emphasized that the central government is giving significant attention to Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to ensure balanced development and the well-being of the people in this region.
Gupta made these remarks while inaugurating a development project worth Rs 24 lakhs in Ward No 54, Trikuta Nagar, within the Gandhi Nagar Constituency. The development project commenced in the presence of Corporator Neeraj Lucky Puri, Vinay Gupta, Narinder Gupta, Prerna Nanda, Indu Puri, Divya Jain, and Vishal Gupta.
He reiterated the BJP's commitment to promoting equitable development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that the central government is dedicated to carrying out developmental initiatives throughout the region.
Gupta praised the Modi-led government at the Centre for prioritizing comprehensive development in all areas without discrimination between rural and urban areas. He emphasized the importance of roads and sanitation, stating that good roads ensure the smooth supply of basic necessities and other goods, while sanitation is crucial for public health.
During the event, Gupta interacted with the local residents and assessed their problems and concerns. He assured them that he would promptly address their grievances by raising them with the relevant authorities. Gupta also urged the people to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to ensure equitable development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Prominent individuals present at the event included Ashok Arora, Tilak Raj Puri, Rakesh Gupta, Kamal Bhakhri, Arun Gupta, Sham Gupta, Mehta Ji, and Ravi Arora.
