| Mahajan Sabha pays tribute to Meharchand, Lala Hansraj | | |

To mark the birth anniversary of two great Duggar leaders, Lala Hansraj and Meharchand Mahajan gloming tributes were paid to them at a function organized by the Jammu central Mahajan Sabha here today.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the work done by these great leaders for the upliftment of the community and people of Jammu region in particular. President of the sabha Ramesh Chander Gupta said, it is very painful to see that numerious Mahajan families are still living below the poverty line in the state. He appealed the members of the Sabha and others to help these people. Same views were expressed by Dr. Sudesh Gupta MLA, Prof. Shamlal Gupta on the occasion stressed upon the Mahajan Biradari to follow & foot prints of Lala Hansraj and Justice Meharchand Mahajan then only community will progress. He was also honoured by the Sabha on becoming MLA.
