Jammu, Sept 12: The Interdepartmental Carom Board Match for Boys and Girls was organized by the Sports Unit, MIER College of Education. The students of School of Education and School of Social Sciences and Humanities participated with great enthusiasm and commitment. The meet was inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Adit Gupta, Principal. He encouraged the students to develop their physical and mental endurance by participating in such events in great numbers. Dr. Rohnika Sharma, HOD of SOE and Dr. Monika Bajaj, HOD, SSSH along with the staff members and the students witnessed the sports event and encouraged the participants. Akrishit Mahajan and Yashasvi from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities bagged the first position, Ms. Ishu Sharma and Ms. Anjali Jain from the School of Education took the second position, and Ms. Shriya Gupta and Ms. Bhavya Gupta from the School of Education won the third position.
