PTTI enhances police skills with multi-storey room intervention training

Vijaypur, Sept 12 : The Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) in Vijaypur orchestrated a practical training cum demonstration on Multi-storey Room Intervention techniques as part of the ongoing Special Operations Group (SOG) Refresher Course.
The event featured a team of technical experts from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), led by SI S.S. Saini, who conducted live demonstrations of mountaineering skills such as rappelling, ascending, descending, and slithering, alongside showcasing multi-story room intervention techniques.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kuldeep Raj, Dy.SP Indoor PTTI Vijaypur, emphasized that the primary objective of such demonstrations and practical training is to bolster the skills and capabilities of the trainees, enabling them to handle terrorism-related situations with greater efficiency. He further noted that the techniques demonstrated by the SDRF team would undoubtedly enhance the effectiveness of these police personnel in carrying out their field duties.
Shri Dushyant Sharma, SSP and officiating Principal of PTTI Vijaypur, expressed his gratitude to the higher authorities of the SDRF for their collaboration and for dispatching their team to PTTI Vijaypur to conduct the demonstration.
The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Shri Zia-Ul-Haq, Dy.SP (Outdoor) PTTI Vijaypur, Inspr. Ram Lal Bhagat, Inspr. Javed Hussain, SI Kapil Raina, ASI Naresh Sharma, HC Narinder Kumar, and HC Gopal Singh.
Their presence underscored the importance of ongoing training and the continuous efforts to equip police personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to safeguard the community and tackle challenging situations effectively.
