On the eve of ‘Basant Panchami’ and promotion of Indian classical music along with light music a musical concert was organized by M.D. Swar Sadhana Sangeet Kendra at Greater Kailash, here today.
The programme which was attended by large number of music lovers was inaugurated by Lt. Col. Kailash Chander of 194, medium regiment. Speaking on the occasion president of Kendra said, the main aim of the Kendra is to provide plateform for budding artist. She asked the new comers to learn Indian classical music, which is soul of all music, and also stressed upon their parents to encourage children towards music.
The artists who performed were Poonam Mahajan, Mamta Suman, Deep Suman, M.K Sahil, Master Jassi, Nityatosh Vasitha, Surinder Manayal, Raman Kumar, Saransh Suman, Surinder Dogra, Jai Pal, Bhushan, Jaskrit Singh, Shivani Sharma, Piyushi Vaid, Neha Kailash, Ishita Gupta, Navisha Gupta, Divyajeet Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Rajinder Sharma, Sunil Gosain, Kiran, Jyotprakash and Muskan.
