Doda Admin hosts Weekly Block Diwas at multiple locations to address public grievances

DODA, Sept 13: The District Administration Doda, led by Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, is actively working to address public grievances and meet the expectations of the people effectively. To achieve this, regular Block Diwas programs are being organized in different locations, particularly in remote areas, as per the directives of the LG administration.
This week Block Diwas events were conducted at Block Headquarter Bhalla, Sub District Bhaderwah; PWD Guest House Jakyas in the Gandoh sub-division; Panchayat Ghar Kuthyara in the Assar sub-division; and GPS Honda in Gaillu village of Panchayat Halaran in the Thathri sub-division.
During the events, government officers actively engaged with the local community and listened to their grievances and demands. Many issues were resolved on the spot by the respective line departments present at the scene. Additionally, certain issues were marked for immediate resolution, demonstrating the administration's commitment to addressing public concerns quickly.
The Block Diwas program at Block Headquarter Bhalla was presided over by ADC Bhaderwah, Dilmir Choudhary, along with Tehsildar Bhalla. A large gathering of local people raised a range of issues related to roads, electricity, water, health, distribution of health cards, and education. The projected demands were directed to the appropriate authorities for a speedy resolution.
The Block Diwas program at Panchayat Ghar Kuthyara in the Assar sub-division was presided over by SDM Lekh Raj. He attentively listened to the public and directed concerned officers to resolve issues on the spot. The Tehsildar Assar also attended the program and played a crucial role in addressing different issues in real-time.
Similar event was held at PWD Guest House Jakyas in the Gandoh sub-division where SDM, Ashraf Parvaz chaired the public meet and listened to the public issues. He directed the concerned officers and officials to dispose of the raised issues and grievances at the earliest. The block Diwas program at GPS Honda in Gaillu village, Panchayat Halaran in the Thathri sub-division, was attended by a large gathering where public concerns were heard and directed for swift resolution.
