Early Times Report
RS PURA, Sept 14: In commemoration of Gandhi Jayanti, the Department of Physical Education and Sports at Government Degree College R. S. Pura organized an engaging activity titled "Creating Reels/Ticktocks." Under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Rajni, the college's Principal, the event aimed to promote the timeless values of truth and non-violence. Kajal Premi, Physical Director of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, supervised the activity. Thirteen students enthusiastically participated in the activity, coming together to create reels that revolved around the theme of truth and non-violence. This innovative approach allowed them to convey the profound ideals of Mahatma Gandhi in a modern and relatable manner. The reels, crafted by the students, were subsequently uploaded to the college's social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. This initiative aims to use the power of social media to spread awareness and acknowledgment of the enduring significance of Gandhian Principles in today's world. Dr. Rajni, the college's Principal, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the participating students and applauded their efforts in promoting Gandhi's principles of truth and non-violence. She also encouraged them to continue participating in such activities in the future, fostering a sense of responsibility towards society and its values.
The "Creating Reels/Ticktocks" activity at Govt. Degree College R. S. Pura serves as a testament to the college's commitment to preserving and propagating the timeless ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. By leveraging modern platforms and engaging the youth, this initiative seeks to ensure that these principles remain relevant and impactful in today's world.
