DC Rajouri approves 08 loan cases under HADP 09 under PMMSY

RAJOURI, Sept 14: In a significant step towards bolstering agricultural and fisheries development, District Level Committee today approved 8 loan cases under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme and 9 cases under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) here at its meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal.
The Holistic Agriculture Development Programme aims to transform the agricultural landscape, focusing on various components for comprehensive growth.
Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, during the meeting, emphasized the importance of modernizing farming techniques, ensuring better access to resources, and enhancing the livelihoods of our farmers.
Under PMMSY, the district is set to witness a significant boost in the fisheries sector. The approval of these cases signifies a substantial investment in the sector, promoting sustainable fishing practices and augmenting income opportunities for local fishermen.
Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal expressed his optimism regarding the approved initiatives, saying that these projects align perfectly with the government’s commitment to uplift the agriculture and fisheries sectors.
“We believe that these measures will not only enhance the economic prospects of our farmers and fishermen but also contribute to the overall development of the district” he added.
The approval of these cases reflects the dedication of the administration to promote holistic growth and foster prosperity among the agricultural and fisheries communities in Rajouri.
The implementation of these projects is expected to commence shortly, with a view to achieving tangible benefits for the people of the district.
The meeting was attended by the CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; CAO, Sohan Singh; CHO, Madan Lal Tak; DSHO; LDM, Sanjeev Bhasin; AD Fisheries, Bodh Raj and other concerned officers.
