SUNDERBANI, Sept 15: As part of their ongoing celebrations for Gandhi Jayanti, the NSS unit of Government Degree College Sunderbani, in collaboration with the Road Safety Club, organized a special event. The program featured the screening of a documentary that showcased the life and significant contributions of Mahatma Gandhi, as well as a lecture on the theme.
Professor Sham Lal, an esteemed faculty member, delivered an engaging lecture during the event. He emphasized the enduring importance of Gandhian principles in today's world, particularly in the context of education and peace-building. Professor Sham Lal's insightful talk provided attendees with valuable insights into how Gandhian philosophy can guide and shape their lives.
Professor Sheraz Kousser, the NSS Programme Officer, expressed gratitude while delivering the vote of thanks. He underscored the relevance of Gandhian principles such as non-violence, truth, and simplicity in contemporary times. These principles, as advocated by Mahatma Gandhi, continue to hold profound wisdom for individuals and society as a whole.
The event was skillfully conducted by Professor Beant Singh, ensuring its smooth progression and engagement of all participants.
Gandhianism, with its fundamental tenet of "Simple living and high thinking," aims to transform individuals and society as a whole.
