Shiv Sena calls for 12 terrorist eliminations in response to martyrdom
9/15/2023 9:51:13 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 15: The Shiv Sena (UBT) unit in Jammu and Kashmir has expressed profound anguish over the martyrdom of 5 soldiers, including an Army Colonel, Major, and DSP of Jammu and Kashmir Police, as well as one Special Police Officer (SPO) in Anantnag and Rajouri districts of Jammu division within the last 48 hours in Kashmir.
Manish Sahni, President of Shiv Sena J&K, has called for a robust military response from the Modi government against Pakistan, which is known to be a breeding ground for terrorism. He further urged for the elimination of 12 terrorists for every Indian soldier lost.
After paying their heartfelt tributes to the martyred soldiers at the party state office, Sahni addressed the media, expressing his concern. He questioned how long the nation would have to endure the martyrdom of its soldiers, especially when active terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, following signals from Pakistan, continue to target both military personnel and innocent civilians.
Despite the abrogation of Article 370, which aimed to bring stability to the region, peace has not been fully established in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorism has regained momentum in both Kashmir and Jammu regions. Sahni cited statistics indicating a significant increase in the number of Indian soldiers martyred in terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir since 2014, along with a substantial rise in terrorist incidents in the region over the past five years.
Sahni underscored the gravity of the situation, noting that in the past two years alone, 23 Indian Army soldiers have been martyred in terrorist attacks in the border districts of Poonch and Rajouri. He also criticized Pakistan's actions, highlighting how the country continues to attack Indian soldiers and innocent citizens while showing leniency towards Pakistani citizens who illegally cross the Indian border.
Sahni's demand for a strong military response from the Indian government against Pakistan reflects the urgent need to address the persistent martyrdom of Indian soldiers and to ensure the nation's security.
