SAMBA, Sept 16: Samba Police, under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police Benam Tosh, has taken action by arresting an accused woman for her involvement in abetment to suicide in connection with the case FIR No. 82/2023 under section 306 IPC at Police Station Ghagwal. This development follows an in-depth investigation into the tragic death of "Rani" from Ghagwal, whose husband had been previously arrested.
The case initially began with inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC into the mysterious death of 42-year-old Rani Devi from Harsath, Ghagwal district, Samba. Subsequently, the case was converted into an FIR under section 306 IPC, and the husband of the deceased was taken into custody.
