Kavinder asks party cadre to proactively prepare for upcoming ULB polls

JAMMU, Sept 16: In a bid to strengthen the Party's grassroots presence and enhance its prospects in the upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB) polls, Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has called upon party cadre to proactively prepare for the impending electoral battle in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
While addressing a meeting of Councillors of 18 Wards falling in Jammu East Constituency at Pt Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kacchi Chawni, Jammu, the senior BJP leader urged the elected Councillor and party workers to actively engage with the people of their respective areas and effectively communicate the significant achievements of the Modi Government. He referred to the last nine years of the Modi rule as a "golden period" for the country, highlighting the unprecedented strides made in various sectors that have positively impacted the lives of millions.
Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President, Parmod Kapahi, District President Jammu, Priya Sethi, former minister, Ajay Pargal, Sanjita Dogra, Dinesh Gupta and Kuldeep Kandhari also shared the dais during the meeting.
Kavinder Gupta expressed his deep satisfaction over the remarkable development witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir during the nine years of Modi's rule. He acknowledged the immense strides taken in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social welfare, which have played a pivotal role in the state's growth and prosperity.
The senior BJP leader highlighted the key pillars that form the foundation of BJP's vision for India's progress. He emphasized that the party's ideology, rooted in the principles of cultural heritage and national pride, is aimed at fostering unity and building an inclusive society that caters to the aspirations of every individual.
The former Deputy Chief Minister asserted that the BJP, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has consistently strived to implement policies that empower the common people. He cited various landmark initiatives such as "Make in India," "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan," "Ayushman Bharat," and "Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana," which have brought about tangible and positive changes in the lives of millions of citizens across the country.
Kavinder encouraged the BJP Councillors and party workers of East Constituency to be well-prepared and proactive in their respective areas in view of upcoming ULB elections.
