Jammu, Sept 16: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Nagrota, PS Bishnah, PP Bathindi and PP Phallian Mandal acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 07 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One Tractor trolley without Registration No, by PS Nagrota.
One tractor trolley bearing Registration No JK02Q 6998 by PS Bishnah
04 Tractors i.e 03 bearing Registration Nos JK02DD-7621, JK02DE-7273, PB05BB-2689 and One bearing Chassis No C-05552117RI, by PP Bathindi.
One Tractor Trolley bearing Chassis No MBNBH55ANPCE60074, by PP Phallian Mandal.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Nagrota Inspr Vishav Partap Singh, SHO PS Bishnah Inspr Vikram Sharma, I/C PP Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh and I/C PP Bathindi SI Shakil Ahmed in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
