K.C. college of education observed world Ozone Day

Jammu, Sept 17: Environmental Club of K.C. College of Education observed ‘World Ozone Day’, the day proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly as International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone layer. The members of the club planned and organized a poster making activity for the students of Arya Girls High School, Jammu.
The main aim of the activity was to spread the awareness about the importance of ozone layer and also the causes of ozone depletion.
Convenor of the club, Dr. Puja Sharma along with the members of the club educated the students on issues of environmental concern especially preservation of ozone layer.
A good number of students of Arya Girls High School participated in the poster making activity organized by the club and showcased their talents and creativity through the beautiful drawings made by them on the theme “Fixing the Ozone layer”. The activity was convened by Dr. Puja Sharma, Club Convenor who applauded the efforts of the club and participation of the students in the activity and mentioned that the club will continue doing such activity involving the locals so that the club can achieve the aim of spreading awareness among the masses about environment protection, preservation and conservation.
